We are staying on Sentosa Island in Singapore to make it easier for us to visit the two main theme parks here. Both are within walking distance of our hotel.
We went to a waterpark called Adventure Cove first. Singapore has the ideal weather for a waterpark – the warmth and sunshine makes it a fantastic day out. You just have to make sure you have lots of suncream on.
David went on his first proper roller coaster ride today. It was an indoor ride with scary Egyptian scenes which meant that David went through the majority of the ride with his eyes closed tight, holding on to my arms with a death grip! After that he said it was really fun and can we go again?
I love trying the public transport in every country I go to. Taxis are easy but boring. There is challenge in finding the way to travel like the locals do. Singapore has the cleanest and most efficient monorail. Nicely air conditioned too – Waterfront Monorail station
