I have a Vietnamese uncle who is a fantastic cook. This is a recipe I inherited from him that will go very well with the fried Vietnamese spring rolls or the Vietnamese summer rolls.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Vietnamese Spring Roll Dipping Sauce

  • Prep Time: 10m

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons water, hot
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • small chili, sliced thinly

Instructions

  1. Melt the sugar in the hot water.
  2. Then add the fish sauce.
  3. Add the vinegar last.
  4. Garlic and chili are optional.
